Well, the Race has been over for a couple of weeks, but it has been a crazy time for me.  But.. here are my final three layouts

Update On My Daughter

After a week of doctors appointments and testing, via process of elimination, we have confirmed that it was a febrile seizure.  Hopefully, it will be an isolated occurance, but at least we know what we’re dealing with if it DOES ever happen again.

Thank you so much for all of the kind words, “I’ve been there” comments, and prayers.  We very much appreciate every one of them!

Shameless Prayer Request

Hello blog readers!  If you scroll down in a minute, you’ll be able to download my part of the “Take Me To The Candy Shoppe” blog train.  But first, if you could please spare a moment and say a prayer for my daughter, I would much appreciate it!!

I have an 18th month old little girl, who woke up at 3:00 this morning having a seizure.  We spent the morning in the Emergency Room getting testing done.  So far, we have no answers.  She had a low grade fever at the ER, and the hope is that her fever spiked in the middle of the night, triggering the seizure.  We don’t know yet though, and will have testing coming up this week. 

If you could spare a moment to say a prayer for her, it would mean the world to our family!  Thank you!!
