Hello blog readers! If you scroll down in a minute, you’ll be able to download my part of the “Take Me To The Candy Shoppe” blog train. But first, if you could please spare a moment and say a prayer for my daughter, I would much appreciate it!!
I have an 18th month old little girl, who woke up at 3:00 this morning having a seizure. We spent the morning in the Emergency Room getting testing done. So far, we have no answers. She had a low grade fever at the ER, and the hope is that her fever spiked in the middle of the night, triggering the seizure. We don’t know yet though, and will have testing coming up this week.
If you could spare a moment to say a prayer for her, it would mean the world to our family! Thank you!!
And now.. on to the blog train! Just scroll down!

Hi Colleen, I will keep your little girl in my prayers. And, try not to worry too much (I know, impossible – right?) My little girl use to get seizures whenever she got a fever – it didn’t have to be really high. Some people are just like that I guess. She still doesn’t do well with fevers & she will be 16 soon.
But, I do remember when she was little – any time I even thought she was feverish – in to a warm bath she went & I would rub her skin briskly with the wet wash cloth. They say that is best now. No cold water as it gives them the chills & raises the fever.
Hang in there.
Ruth
My prayers are going up for you little princess. Hugs, Wendy
I said a prayer for your baby.
Oh, sweetie, our prayers are with you! I hope the little one recovers and it is not something too scary! Hugs, dear! Hold on there! Olga
I said a prayer for you and your little one. I will pray as often as the Holy Spirit brings her to mind. May you feel the peace that only Jesus can give!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
Hugs and prayers for you and your family! Hopefully, it’s just a febrile seizure (my special needs daughter gets them right BEFORE a fever). It’s scary, I know. I hope you get some answers soon.
My 4-year old and I prayed for your little girl. Best wishes, not just for her, but for you so you don’t get too stressed though I can imagine it’s impossible not to be! Take care lots and lots!
Prayers coming your daughters way. I had two unexplained ones and they never found a cause. I am perfectly fine so I pray the same is true for your daughter.
As I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter I feel for you. I cannot imagine the hurt & worry you must be feeling. My thoughts & prayers are with your family & especially the little precious one. Good luck & I hope she is well soon!
Lots of prayers coming your way!
I will certainly pray for your little girl, you, and your family.
It is so scary when our children are sick and we don’t have all the answers we want so I pray the Drs. will be able to determine what caused the seizure.
God Bless you all.
My prayers are with you and your family.
Thinking of you and your family. Hoping you will have good news today.
Lots of luv and {{{hugs}}}
Chris
My heart and prayers are with you and your little girl. I’m crying even now as it reminds me of when my little guy got suddenly incredibly sick when he was 3. He’s 7 now and by God’s grace he’s been healthy since and that is my prayer for your little sweetie as well. Lean into Him for your strength and peace. He loves her more than you do (I always find that so incredibly amazing that He could possibly love our children more than we Moms can).
God bless you and your family.
My prayers are with your little girl, you and your family.
Oh my Gosh! I just read your post. You definitely have my prayers. I hope everything goes well and that your daughter is OK.
You and your little girl are being held up in prayer and huge hugs are being sent your way at this very minute.
Many blessings to you,
Sally
I just came accross your blog via a link from another site and saw your prayer request. Definately will be praying for your daughter. I have a 5 yr old and I know how hard it is to be a mommy and be worried about your baby. It just tears your heart out when your little one has so much as a cold but it can be unbearable when there is something very wrong. You are in our prayers tonight.
